Betting on table tennis risk

TT energy's picture

When I was writing a summary of the Slovenia open 2012 for tabletennisyoutube.com, I typed in some of the players names playing each other and found on google that there were sports betting agencies using their matches as a decider on how much money you win or lose.

I have my own club in Battle Ground, WA now

I play about 10-15 hours a week.   I have a 'TT heaven' where I work.  I have a new sparring partner that in the past must have been much better than me long ago but now he is happy to just do drills and suggest improvements.
He is getting better rapidly but we are getting better together.  There are other players that don't want to drive across the river into Portland, OR to play.  I have a schedule for the weekdays but weekends are free and are flexible.

Enjoying table tennis

Today was another marathon table tennis day. Around six hours with various playing partners. One was Hans, from Austria, and I really enjoy playing against defensive players like him, as it gives me, and my slow footwork, a chance to move and play the next shot. Of course many shots go into the net! I enjoy the cut and thrust of the defence/attack and the looping and trying to do a drop shot. It's a cat and mouse game.

Got the spin art!

I believe that I attatched the picture of me holding spin art up to my face at the end of this post.

It arrived.

I am not doing anything with it today.

I will be getting my Ross Leidy blade soon, early February, so I might just leave the spin art in a safe location for 2-3 weeks.

My primary option for the backhand is, at this point in time, Haifu Shark II Red Sponge Upgrade.

Thanks!

Spin Art in my hands!

Playing yesterday was not really fun but it was interesting.

Am suffering with a flu at the moment but still went for a short hit to fairtex to play a new guy - old TT buddy of Ed's called Hans (from Austria I think).  Older very tall guy.

He is a different kind of player that I only managed to get one game off in a few matches.
