tenergy 05 twiddling with c8 dhs play

TT energy's picture

After playing with my tenergy 05 and c8 LP on an allround blade, I had a quick couple of games with my normal rubbers on the Telion.  I just love the telion and it is very unique in my mind.  So much bounce and a beautiful resonance, it is powerful to say the least but doesn't feel hard dead like carbon.

I stuck my t05 and LP on it and sure I knew it would be faster and yes insanely.  Blocking shorter on the table sometimes hard, but the 05 side really played much better for me with lots more finishing power, similar in LP backhand power slap.

Ma Long equipment paddle blade 2011

ma longs blade dhs 3.jpg

Ma Long's blade changed from the timo boll paddle to a new Chinese cheap bat.  There is still speculation about it but it does appear to be something cheap made simply of wood.  To me it looks like the DHS 3.

He has probably changed from Hurricane 3 neo to skyline 3 blue sponge by double happiness as well on his forehand, still using tenergy 64 on his backhand.

How do you cut your rubber and attach it to the blade?

tenergy 05 fx how not to glue.JPG

So you get a brand new $80 rubber and are excited to play with it.

You put glue on the rubber and on the blade and then roll it out with a pin of some sort stretching it as you go.  You notice there are bubbles or lines or whatever so you take it off and go again but!

You stretched the hell out of it.

Table Tennis Tip:

1.  glue as I do I never have problems and don't use fancy equipment.

2. Do not put glue first.
