What do you guys do for rubber protectors?

My favorite or LKT because they are firmer and sticker and last a long time. I have tried JUIC but they are flimsy and not as sticky as Nittaku's. The best rubber protectors I can get at the Paddle Palace are Nittaku ones. I think I got the LKT rubber protectors from colestt.com but I don't see anyone advertise them in their accessories area.

I was stupid and didn't put rubber protectors on my T05 for four months. :(

Does anybody simply seal their paddle in a re-sealable baggie? It seems like that would be the best way to go if you have a bag with different compartments for the different paddles.

Rubber protectors that you get with a rubber by far the best you can get. When many people get their rubbers that don't off these luxury items they:

1. cut the shape out of the lime butterfly paper to use in a clamp.
2. cut the shape out of the cover of the rubber.

Or if you are Boz you go down to the local stationary if you could be bothered and by the sticky stuff we used to cover our text books with that has about 100 rubber protectors in it for $2.

wash your rubber protector

I thought I should say that the sticky protectors you have to wash them with warm soapy water every week because the bits that stick to them will then get driven into your rubber.

Cleaning rubber protectors

Doesn't washing the rubber protectors remove the stickiness?
I have simply thrown the dirty ones away and put on new ones.

No, pnatchwey, this is one of

No, pnatchwey, this is one of the biggest secrets ever, I was suprised too.

1. Turn on the hot water, wet it all, rub a little soap in gently rubbing from the centre outwards while slowly turning the protector around so the rubbing and the flow of water goes in the same direction. The key is you can feel with your fingers the grit coming off until it is smooth.

2. turn on a hair dryer and blow warm air on them while shaking excess droplets off until all dry.

BE AMAZED ABOUT HOW MANY PROTECTORS YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER THROWN AWAY.

I have had the same ones for ever, they slowly lose the stick but that is after scores of washing and don't forget that you can buy non sticky potectors also from butterfly, so atleast you have some little stick with your old ones.

I have non-sticky rubber protectors too

I use the non-sticky protectors for the anti rubber.
I will try washing my favorite LKT rubber protectors.

no need

That is really funny! LOL

It took me a while and then it came why on earth would try to make sure your anti rubber doesn't lose grip? Sure you don't want a hole but in that case put your bat in a case.

I like to put protectors on grippy because even in the case they may be friction.
