Yesterday was a bad day for me.Yesterday i took part in a state(school)competition and lost in the second round. The first was easy but the second was prety hard and humiliating bec lost to a boy which is smaller than me by one age(think so) the match point 3-1.By the way,the competition wasn't that great bec the floor was in bad shape(not a suitable table tennis floor)the lights were dim and they don't have rails to block the ball from running away so u have to catch it by yourself after a good forehand smash. It was hard for me to play in that state of suroundings.

Wouldn't take it so bad on yourself
Losing to somebody younger is totally normal in table tennis. Losing to someone who has just picked a bat is not.
What was it about them being able to win more points? Were they more used to playing in those conditions?
By the way I hate low light and low quality tables and floors. One thing you can do is at least keep your shoes moist for more grip.
Better luck next time.
